Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Music Visual Architect?

A Music Visual Architect is someone who listens deeply to the music, the story, and the emotion behind a project, and translates that into visual form. Emily collaborates closely with artists to create hand-drawn artwork that reflects the soul of the music, from album visuals and creative direction to original pieces. Every project begins with connection, trust, and a shared creative vision.

Do you work with artists, managers, and creative teams?

Yes. Emily works directly with musicians as well as with managers, labels, and creative teams to develop visual concepts for projects, including album art, tour art, promotional visuals, and original pieces.

How does the collaboration process work with musicians?

Emily begins each project by listening to the music, the story, and the creative vision behind it. Every collaboration is built on conversation, trust, and shared intention. The goal is not just to create artwork, but to create visuals that feel true to the music and the artist’s world.

Do you accept commissions and/or freelance work?

Yes — selectively. Emily takes on collaboration-led projects primarily in music (album visuals, tour art, creative direction), and occasionally book-related illustration projects when there’s a strong creative fit. If you have a project in mind, please reach out with details and the team will confirm availability.
